Black Pelican is interviewing candidates for full time line cook positions that will begin on or about May 1, 2018 and last through the summer season. Year-round line cook positions will also be considered.
Candidates should have professional kitchen experience. Candidates should be reliable, responsible and professional. Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment is required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: cooking & preparing all menu items according to standards set by the Chef, stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line, food preparation & portioning prior to service, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, the ability to lift 60lbs and stand for long periods of time. A minimum of 1 year experience required.
This position pays between $10-$15/hr commensurate with experience.
