Two Roads Tavern is the beach’s newest (and sister restaurant of the famous Lucky 12 Tavern) and is located in the Seagate North Shopping Center, milepost 4.5 (in the former Bad Bean location.) Two Roads specializes in oysters and burgers and their event in Taste of the Beach is a highlight of what they do best. For the late luncher or maybe an after chowder cookoff event, the 3-5pm time slot will fill up your day as well as your belly.

Join us at Two Roads as they present an event that combines their specialties of fine burgers and oysters paired along with rum cocktails from Outer Banks Distilling, a new local rum distillery located in Manteo.  Meet and greet one of the owners, and discuss their distilling process and history of how they developed their first Kill Devil Rum.

“Two Roads to Rum” is a three course dining event.

FIRST COURSE:

Silver Rum Oyster and Andouille Sausage Gumbo paired with a hand crafted Silver Rum Cocktail.

SECOND COURSE:

Enjoy your choice of either:

Hereford Beef Burger stuffed with chopped pecans and topped with rum caramelized apples and onion. bacon, brie and arugula

(OR)

Carolina Chicken Brine Sandwich with a house Kill Devil Rum sauce.

Each are served with handcut fries along with a crafted Gold Rum Cocktail.

THIRD COURSE:

Homemade Honey Pecan Spiced Rum Cake along with an after dinner Honey Pecan Rum Spiced Cocktail.
