Thyme and Tide: An Intimate Barrel Room Wine Dinner

Sanctuary Vineyards and Thyme and Tide Café are proud to present a once in a lifetime event for Taste of the Beach 2017.

This culinary experience will feature a 5 course meal prepared by Chef David Garrenton, paired with local and international wines selected by Certified Sommelier John Wright, served in the barrel room of Sanctuary Vineyards. Appetizers and sparkling wine will be served in the Sanctuary Vineyards tasting lounge prior to dinner service, as well as an all-access barrel tasting of future vintages. This event is limited to 24 seats – 21+ only please.

Please arrive as close to 5:00pm as possible to fully enjoy the tastings before dinner is served.

Pulled Duck Confit and Slow Simmered Collard Greens in a Traditional Eggroll wrapper with sweet and spicy Hoisin Sauce
Paired with 2015 Wildflowers Dry Rose

***Second Course***
Fresh Local Seared Tilefish topped with a Sundried Tomato Pesto served with Buttered Backyard Asparagus and a Yukon, Parsnip Whip
Paired with 2015 Pearl Albarino

***Third Course***
Fresh Baby Spinach and Peppery Arugula tossed in a Roasted Shallot Blue Cheese Vinaigrette, topped with a Grilled South Carolina Quail
Paired With 2014 Coastal Collage

***Fourth course***
North Carolina Cheese Plate served with Assorted Dried and Fresh Fruits and Nuts
Paired With 2014 Aglianico

***Fifth Dessert Course***
Fruit Sorbet and Cookies
Paired With 2015 OBX ICE
