The Currituck Crawl and Stall
March 19, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
$36.50 – $63.50We welcome you to this second annual event. Last year we had y’all up to Currituck and the OBX Trolley took you around to each of 3 Currituck favorites to enjoy great food drink and fun at each stop. We received so many compliments on this event that we just had to bring it back. This year we’ve changed it up a bit and made it a little easier for more folks to enjoy.
Join us at Sanctuary Vineyards for a great evening of wines, as well as Dave Boutilier from SaltyDawg on site cooking up his famous award-winning barbeque and grilling some delicious Weeping Radish brats. Drink up some authentic German beer offerings from Weeping Radish Brewery too. All this while enjoying live music and the beautiful ambience of the Sanctuary Vineyards tasting room and wine cellar. We are having it all in one location this year, for three hours of food drink and fun from the best of Currituck OBRA members.
We are still offering tickets with transportation on the OBX Trolley included, so if you want help crawling up to Currituck (and back of course) just buy your ticket with transportation included and meet at the Kitty Hawk Visitors Center at 3:30 on Saturday. The Trolley will depart promptly at 3:45 so be on time! Then after your short “crawl” you get to “stall” …as in stay put, enjoy some drinks, some food, some music, meet new friends, etc. These tickets are limited to just 35 so get yours as fast as you can, because that’s all the room on the trolley we have folks! We are also offering tickets without transportation but with full food and drink, and even a designated driver ticket without alcohol. We will have waters and sodas on hand for you. (Please no liquor (brown bagging) because of ALE restrictions.)
This will be a fun party event on Saturday evening. If a sit down fancy dinner isn’t your style, then this is a great event for you. Aww heck, make a big day of it by going to the OBX Chowder Cookoff first and then hop on the trolley (pick up location is just across the road!) for an extended evening of good times and good friends!
UPDATE: We are offering an additional early pickup from the Chowder Cookoff site (Southern Shores Crossing Shopping Center) at 2:45…so if you want to keep the fun going after attending the chowder cookoff (it ends at 2:30), purchase your ticket below (it’s labeled accordingly). That will take you up to the vineyards and arrive about 3:15 where you will be welcomed to enjoy some pre-party tastings.
**OBRA has added a small flat fee onto this ticket price to cover website administrative costs. A credit card processing fee of 3% will also be added at checkout. The totals for both these fees is still less than was charged by using third party ticketing agents in the past. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
