$45We are excited to present to you our “Local and Lavish” Taste of the Beach 2024 menu where creatively crafted dishes are paired with some of your favorite local wines and beers, as well as incorporating fresh local seafood, fruits and vegetables.
1st Course (Choose One)
Strawberry Burrata Salad – Arugula, heirloom cherry tomatoes, roasted red beets, fresh local strawberries, prosciutto, fresh basil, and burrata served with a homemade cherry vinaigrette.
Black Pepper Tuna – Pepper crusted Local Yellowfin Tuna, seared rare. Served with cucumber salad, wasabi, pickled ginger, and topped with ponzu sauce.
Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail – Eight jumbo NC shrimp, chilled, and served with Mo’s famous homemade cocktail sauce.
2nd Course (Choose One)
Roasted Duck Dinner – Seared Duck Breast served over a parsnip and shallot puree, sauteed local asparagus, and finished with a cherry balsamic reduction.
Pairs well with:
Beer – Notorious F.I.G., 1718 Brewery, Ocracoke NC
Wine – Pine Island, (Drier American Pinot Noir), OBX Winery, Kill Devil Hills, NC
Blackened Fish Dinner – Locally Caught Blackened White Fish (whatever is fresh that weekend). Served over potato gnocchi with a homemade spinach, mushroom, and Parmesan garlic cream sauce.
Pairs well with:
Beer – Kitty Hawk Blonde, Lost Colony Brewery, Manteo NC
Wine – Pea Island (Drier Citrusy Italian Style Pinot Grigio), OBX Winery, Kill Devil Hills, NC.
