Always one of the most popular events of the weekend, join us for the 10th annual Chowder Cookoff featuring over a dozen local restaurants vying for the title of best seafood chowder…and $1750 in cash awards!  Attendees get to sample all and vote for the People’s Choice favorite.

Advance tickets include two beverage tickets – your choice of beer, wine or soda/water.  The first 200 advance tickets sold can get a free Chowder T-Shirt (additional shirts and beverages available for purchase).   If you are not interested in a T-shirt, please purchase the ticket below that does not include one and save that for another attendee who really wants one. Again, there are only 200 of those tickets that include a t-shirt available.

This year there will be NO tickets sold at the door and the sales are limited to just 500 tickets.  If you think you want to attend this event you should purchase your tickets here and in advance. (This event sold out in advance last year!)

Kids 10 and under are free to enter with a paid adult. No drink tickets included but they can eat chowder as they like.

This is an outdoor event in Southern Shores Crossing Shopping Center, with covered sidewalk, so please dress seasonally. Limited parking on site, overflow parking at Town of Southern Shores offices, and at the Taste Of The Beach hotel accommodations sponsor, Hilton Garden Inn, just across the street.

Also, regarding dogs at this event…we love dogs, but unfortunately this event has become just too crowded to allow your furry friend to attend.
